WR13 5EH | Water -confident front crawl swimmers WHO’S THIS CLINIC FOR: Water-confident & experienced front crawl swimmers who want to improve their knowledge, confidence & comfort to swim front crawl in open-water ITINERARY: 20min: THEORY: To include why swimming in open-water is so different to the pool. What practical tips you need to consider when swimming 'wild', event preparation, environmental factors. risk assessing conditions etc 1hr: WATER-BASED PRACTICAL: To include: Building confidence with out-door swim skills like: sighting, drafting in a pack, formation swimming, buoy turning, deep-water starts 40min: REWARM & SOCIAL around the fire-pit post swim/dip for a debrief, with complimentary hot drinks & homemade cake WHEN: SUNDAY 05, JULY 2026 | 11.30am-1.30pm **Please arrive in good time - we've got a lot to cover!** WHERE: Wild-Wood-UK. WR13 5EH Follow the ‘WITH JULES COLD WATER IMMERSION COURSE’ signs THE LAKE: One of the most beautiful lakes in the county. It’s spring fed making the water quality fantastically clear & rated ‘Excellent’. It’s very sheltered & secluded, & you’ll get to swim/dip amongst the lily pads & watch the wildlife go by SAFETY: Courses are limited to 25, ensuring you have time to discuss any questions you have, so you'll leave with a boost in both your knowledge & practical skills, meaning that you can swim front crawl in open-water with greater confidence. We put your safety & wellbeing at the heart of everything we do, so joining you in the water or on the bank side will be a very experienced & qualified Open Water Lifeguard & cold-water swimmer TOW FLOATS: We can loan them - but *BRING YOUR OWN IF YOU HAVE ONE* ACCESSIBILITY: Need to climb up & down steps
